Stripe Payment Terms
Scope & Definition
These Stripe Payment Terms apply to all real-currency transactions processed through Stripe via Parcel or Packables and are hereby incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using our Stripe-based payment services, you agree to the following additional terms:
Overview
Parcel and Packables enable sellers to accept real-world currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.) via Stripe. Payments are processed through our platform using Stripe Checkout, a secure third-party processor. Sellers receive payouts after successful Stripe transactions.
Invoices and Receipts
As a user, you acknowledge that:
Stripe provides automated receipts upon payment.
For formal invoices, buyers must download a copy from the Parcel Cockpit.
Sellers may request proof of purchase for fulfillment or support purposes.
Refunds and Chargebacks
In most cases, all sales are final and non-refundable due to the digital and custom nature of products sold on Parcel and Packables.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only if clear evidence indicates the seller is at fault (e.g., failure to deliver, delivery of unusable or incorrect items). Each case will be reviewed individually, and a refund is not guaranteed.
Buyer-Seller Resolution First
If a buyer is unsatisfied with a purchase, they should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the seller.
Escalation to Parcel Support
If the seller refuses to cooperate or cannot be reached, buyers should contact Parcel Customer Support. We will review the situation and determine any appropriate action, which may include mediation or refund consideration.
Chargebacks
- Filing a chargeback without contacting the seller or Parcel Support first is considered a violation of these Terms.
- Sellers are encouraged to contest chargebacks with proper documentation.
- Chargebacks may lead to immediate consequences, including the suspension of the buyer's account or access to further services.
Recognizability and Responsibility
As a user, you acknowledge that:
Buyers are responsible for ensuring authorized use of their payment methods.
Mistaken Purchases
As a user, you acknowledge that:
Purchases made due to lack of understanding, buyer error, or unclear expectations do not qualify for refunds.
Buyers are encouraged to contact the seller with any uncertainties before purchase.
Liability Disclaimer
As a user, you acknowledge that Parcel and its sellers are not liable for:
Stripe outages or transaction failures.
Currency exchange losses or bank fees.
Delays caused by incorrect customer information or procedural issues.
